…did I hear something about being able to ride along…?

That’s right! The Tour de Trans is an inclusive and unifying approach to raising awareness of trans issues, starting positive conversations about gender identity, and raising money for Chrysalis.

Everyone is welcome to take part in the Tour de Trans and encouraged to send this clear message of pride and support for all trans+ people. Wherever you are, you can take part virtually either as a cyclist or as a supporter. To help spread the positive message of the Tour de Trans we want to see photos of your rides and support shared on social media!

Between 13th-25th of August 2020, take pictures waving homemade Tour de Trans banners, flying the trans flag (or any pride flag)! Or take pictures on your own “pRide Along” in your hometown. Wear your flags or pride colours, or dress loudly and colourfully!

Then simply share your photos on TwitterInstagram, and/or Facebook. Make sure to tag #TourDeTrans to be part of the conversation!

Not on social media? You can send your pictures to, just let us know if you would like them shared!

Longer Rides:

It may be possible for other riders with a good level of cycling fitness and ability to join the tour for part of the route. Please see the information on our route page for more details .

Changes to our Official pRide Along events:

Initially we had planned to have open public “pRide Along events” at four locations along the route #AcrossBritainAcrossGenders. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have had to scale back these events to ensure the safety of the public and our cyclists.

The Tour cyclists will still be stopping in each of the planned locations to connect with local LGBT+ organisations, but sadly we are no longer able to make these events open to the public. We endeavour to film and photograph as much as these events as possible and share on social media.

We are sorry to disappoint everyone who had planned to attend and Official pRide Along event. We hope you can join us in a virtual pRide Along instead. And if you see any Tour de Trans cyclists pass you by- give them a big shout and a wave! (and a push!)
