Congratulations to our Tour de Trans riders and support team. Paeton and Callum you are incredible. The work that has gone into the Tour by yourselves, Em your without whom there would have been no warm, no food and no vehicle and also by our Social Media team Callum and An and your tour manager Josie is truly humbling. What an epic ride. Neither rain nor storm nor glom of nit stopped our riders as they travelled from Land’s End to John O’Groats. The terrifying drop off of Purbeck Ridge and the wonderful welcome in Waymouth that made it all

Chrysalis Virtual Pride

Like many others, we have been missing Pride here at Chrysalis.

This evening we held a virtual pride for group members and volunteers. It Included a short speech from our CEO Andi and an LGBT+ quiz run by Robin, as well as a general hang out and chat.

We wanted to focus on a mostly celebratory tone, because whilst Pride is a protest, for us right now we needed a celebration – a celebration of people being able to be their authentic selves and be seen and heard as

Living in a virtual world

Morning all, another week in the house begins, after another weekend of dancing in the living room and so I thought it was about time I started talking about all the ways that Chrysalis has developed over the last few weeks.

Stand ready for some stats

Chrysalis exists to break down the barriers of isolation, to enable people to make connections, to feel free to be authentic and to explore what that authenticity means. Since the 18th March we have been working on how to bring our group members all the benefits of Chrysalis into their virtual worlds.

Such incredible news to share with you this morning. Thanks to the hard work of everyone involved with Chrysalis we are now able to offer our support groups and our one-to-one counselling online.

For those already a part of Chrysalis then the team will be in touch with you with all the information you need. If you want to join Chrysalis and access our support then email info@chrysalisgim.org.uk or call 07823 504306 between 9:30 and 3pm Monday to Friday and Dawn or Sheila will be there to chat with you.
