Congratulations to our Tour de Trans riders and support team. Paeton and Callum you are incredible. The work that has gone into the Tour by yourselves, Em your without whom there would have been no warm, no food and no vehicle and also by our Social Media team Callum and An and your tour manager Josie is truly humbling. What an epic ride. Neither rain nor storm nor glom of nit stopped our riders as they travelled from Land’s End to John O’Groats. Broken gear levers, broken crates, fear-conquering faith
Seven weeks ago today, a turbo training session went horribly wrong. Twenty minutes into the workout my right-hand gear lever snapped clear off, finally succumbing to damage sustained in a previous fall. Ordinarily this would have been annoying, frustrating, and in some ways quite funny.

This week I would like to talk about sports supporter raising money for Chrysalis including London Marathon runner Amy , Paeton and Chris and our trustee Scott as they cycle from Land’s End to John O’Groats, our our incredible volunteers such as Olly providing one-to-one chats to keep people connected, and what I am involved with.
Morning all! Another lovely sunny day to view through the window (really must clean it) and I have a new view to admire. This quite time is a time of house or self improvement for many, even here there has been cleaning going on (although [not] clearly not including my window) and so for the pipe fanciers among you I present my new view! Good, isn’t it? There’s slopes and everything, gravity can now have it’s wicked way with the water. (more…)
